Vancouver Casinos - Lots of Fun for a Great Night Out

added by admin 833 days ago under Attractions

Vancouver has a number of world class Casinos in and around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland area. There has been no expense spared in the construction of these Casinos and they have most of the popular Las Vegas style games including Black Jack, Roulette, Poker, Craps, Baccarat, Pai Gow, and Slot Machines. Some even have "High Roller" areas and VIP rooms where you can play against the house one on one, although you may have to open with $20,000. Going to the Casino can be a great start to a fun night out. Most of the Vancouver Area Casinos will also have free entertainment on Friday and/or Saturday nights with live shows with featured entertainers such as bands, singers, and comedians. Going to dinner or a Canucks game (depending on if you are with your girl or the guys), then hitting the Casino for a couple of hands, before going home - or clubbing for the more adventurous people can be a lot of fun as a wind up to your evening out or a wind down. Remember, going to a Casino in Vancouver doesn't always mean that you have to be there to gamble. Sometimes just going to see the live shows and have a couple of drinks can be a fun and classy night out. If you do choose to play some of the games here are some tips that can help you stay on top of your game:

  • If you loose three hands in a row just walk away. Go to another table as chances of this table getting better are slim.

  • If you are playing Black Jack staying on 16 is not a crime. Don't let other people at the table give you a hard time about this. If you are staying on 16 ALWAYS stay on 16. Don't flip-flop between staying on 16 and hitting on 16. This will lead to your demise as consistency is a big part of Black Jack. Same if you are hitting 16; always hit it or don't hit it at all. Just remember it is your choice, just play consistently.

  • Don't get emotional. Getting angry - or even overly happy can entice you to make plays you normally would not make. Making it personal with the dealer and wanting just to "beat" his/her hands will also lead to your demise. The dealer probably doesn't really care if you win or lose, and in fact probably wants you to win, as this is more then likely to lead to a tip then if you lose. If you make it personal with the deal then he/she may want you to lose, especially if you become angry and abusive towards them, even in demeanor. If you lose it can cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The most it will cost the dealer is part of a tip that he/she shares with all the other dealers at the Casino. If find yourself getting emotional just walk away. Enjoy a show the Casino is putting on or change games. Or maybe it is time to leave. Remember, the option to walk away is always yours - use it wisely.

  • Always set a time limit and a budget. Just take the money you intend on playing with along with you. If you lose this money then it is probably a good idea to call it a night. Same goes for time. Set a time limit that you will stay at the Casino and don't go over it - even if you are winning. Eventually everybody’s luck turns and this is what the Casino is counting on - that the winners just won't leave before they give it all back and more. This is where taking a Limousine to the Casino can help you. If you know the limo is coming back for you at a certain time then chances are you will be ready to leave when your time limit has come. This can help you walk way with your winnings or stop you from losing more. As the saying goes - Know your limit and play within it.

Going to a Casino in Vancouver can be fun and different form of entertainment, either on its own or as part of event filled evening. Going to and from the Casino in a limousine can add to the evenings experience, especially if you plan on having some drinks at the Casino. This way, even if you lose some money, you will still come out looking like a winner!
